Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop 3D and 2D geometries based on blueprint requirements.
  • •Create NC programs for lathes and mills and define cutting tools and geometries (including modeling of tool holders, inserts, drills).
  • •Administer and control NC programs using the DNC system.
  • •Generate manufacturing instructions/dossier packages, including setup cards and work instructions.
  • •Optimize cycle times for new and existing parts, run first parts for buyoff, and provide guidance/training to operations while maintaining QMS and trade compliance records.

  • •Experience using Mastercam software hands-on.
  • •More than 5 years’ experience in CNC programming and/or NC equipment operations.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including symbolic notation.

  • •Advanced computer usage and knowledge of lathes and mills operation.
