Key Responsibilities

•Lead the electrical design and analysis for rail and transit infrastructure, including layout drawings, single-line and three-line diagrams, and control, protection, and monitoring schemes.
•Prepare, review, and verify engineering drawings, technical calculations, specifications, and compliance documentation.
•Develop grounding and bonding designs in accordance with CSA, IEEE, and applicable local safety standards.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical requirements into overall project designs.
•Interface with clients, stakeholders, and authorities by providing technical input and progress updates throughout design and implementation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 135,200 - 179,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Master’s degree considered an asset
•Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for licensure
•10+ years of related experience in MV/LV systems, ideally within rail or transit projects, with demonstrated leadership in project delivery, client engagement, and mentoring
•Proven experience with design integration across multidisciplinary projects
•Proficiency in power system modelling and analysis tools
