Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and develop a team of hourly associates to achieve production targets in an Inspection Center.
  • •Oversee safe movement of vehicles in and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Lead day-to-day operations: identify strengths/weaknesses, coach team members, provide feedback, and manage performance.
  • •Ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards; prevent and resolve team conflicts.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects and train associates to complete repairs effectively the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays in production.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
  • •Understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs; no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work extended standing in a shop environment; use safety equipment and work variable schedules including overtime and weekends.
