Job Summary

Own the end-to-end architecture for a Continuous Delivery platform, including deployment orchestration, pipeline execution, progressive delivery (canary, blue-green), and automated rollback safety. Define a multi-year technical roadmap, make build/buy decisions, and stay deeply hands-on by writing production code, building POCs, and prototyping new deployment capabilities. Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end CD architecture for deployment orchestration, pipeline execution, progressive delivery (canary/blue-green), and automated rollback safety.
•Set the multi-year technical roadmap for CD and align build/buy and investment decisions with broader engineering strategy.
•Stay deeply hands-on by building POCs/MVPs, writing production code for hard problems, and prototyping new deployment capabilities.
•Act as CD subject-matter expert with customers, partners, and internal leadership; present to executives.
•Drive cross-team architectural alignment, mentor Principal/Senior Engineers, and partner with SREs to address production performance, reliability, and scale issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
•15+ years backend development with expertise in large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
•Proven track record architecting and scaling a continuous delivery, GitOps, deployment, or comparable high-throughput orchestration platform.
•Deep hands-on expertise in JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin) and/or Golang with gRPC-based microservices.
•Expert-level Kubernetes, including deployment models, operators, multi-cluster/multi-cloud, and observability/alerting.
