Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal review and guidance on proposals, procurement, contracting strategies, and day-to-day program execution for applicable divisions.
  • •Own international terms and conditions redlines and negotiations end-to-end for master agreements, purchase order T&Cs, and license, hardware, and services agreements.
  • •Manage key relationships with procurement, contracting, and legal counterparts across foreign government and U.S. government stakeholders.
  • •Oversee and evaluate major proposals and contracts across the acquisitions lifecycle, including negotiations, performance issues, and compliance.
  • •Advise on international legal matters including IP, data rights, compliance, offsets/industrial cooperation, and coordination with International Trade Compliance on ITAR/EAR and sanctions.

Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years working on international commercial contracting and/or international government/defense contracts, defense trade, or U.S. government contracts matters.
  • •Ability to structure and negotiate cross-border agreements (governing law, dispute resolution/arbitration, payment security, Incoterms) with familiarity in DCS and FMS/hybrid vehicles.
  • •Strong judgment and initiative to make risk-adjusted decisions and own multiple projects end-to-end.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •Licensed to practice law in CA or eligible to register as in-house counsel under California Rules of Court, Rule 9.46.
