Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct, plan, and administer Production department activities, overseeing safety and production-floor housekeeping hazards during each shift.
  • •Define production objectives, develop short- and long-term plans, and drive continuous improvement across the production floor.
  • •Prepare operational schedules and coordinate production to ensure quality and budget alignment; review reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems.
  • •Oversee machine/equipment inspections, monitor blend recipes and resin usage, and coordinate resin substitution and purchase needs.
  • •Lead and coach Production Supervisors through performance assessments, training needs, daily production reviews, and employee hiring/termination recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •10 years progressively responsible management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •5 years blown film extrusion/conversion experience.
  • •ISO 9000 experience preferred.
  • •Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma (or other manufacturing/quality certification) preferred.
