Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and analyze accounting entries and perform detailed account reconciliations to support gas operations results.
  • •Review operating and financial results and partner with Financial Reporting during the monthly close to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
  • •Support variance analysis, audit and reporting requests, and special projects while researching issues and resolving discrepancies.
  • •Provide guidance, training, coaching, and help set work priorities and evaluate employee performance.
  • •Assist with compliance efforts including Sarbanes-Oxley and applicable regulatory requirements, and identify process improvement opportunities through standardization and automation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 82,000 - 124,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with job-related experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company financial accounting and/or billing methods.
  • •Experience supporting financial accounting and reporting standards, processes, and interpreting accounting standards and/or policies.
  • •Ability to perform advanced quantitative work including math, advanced algebra, and statistics.
  • •Experience analyzing, researching, and preparing accounting-related studies, reports, and correspondence.
