Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent the company externally to advance policy and regulatory objectives in South East Asia.
  • •Lead active government engagement, including advocacy, public campaigning, and interaction with policymakers and policy influencers.
  • •Drive Wise’s participation in implementing the G20 Cross Border Payments Roadmap through annual G20 Scorecard Reports, focused on direct access and price transparency.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Banking, Compliance, Public Relations, and Legal teams to align external outreach with business goals.
  • •Support APAC and global leadership in external meetings with governments, regulators, and trade associations, and assist ESG compliance processes.
Travel: Medium travel

Salary: SGD 10,900 - 14,100 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of relevant experience in government, politics, or public policy roles.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English, and preferably another language.
  • •Experience operating in at least one South East Asian market with an established network and understanding of government structures, regulatory systems, and political institutions.
  • •Ability to constructively challenge authority figures with evidence to drive change.
  • •Proficiency in financial services, payments, and consumer protection policy is considered a plus.
