Job Summary

Lead the Linode Storage Engineering team and manage the delivery of reliable, scalable storage solutions. As an engineering manager and SDET, you’ll build deterministic functional and non-functional test suites in CI/CD/CT environments, partner on technical design and backlog planning, and apply expertise in object and block storage across distributed microservices. You’ll also hire, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

•Manage and develop the engineering team through hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring.

•Improve internal processes and systems on an ongoing basis.

Key Requirements

•Relevant experience managing and maintaining high-performing engineering teams.
•Extensive SDET experience testing software in a distributed, micro-services environment.
•Hands-on depth using Python and Golang for testing and engineering work.
•Ability to build reliable, deterministic functional and non-functional test suites in a CI/CD/CT environment.
•Knowledge of object storage and block storage technologies in cloud environments.
