Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and oversee deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions, and software to capture, manage, store, and utilize structured and unstructured data.
  • •Establish processes and structures to route data from multiple inputs and store it using distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other storage forms.
  • •Develop technical tools and programming that use artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize, and transform data and maintain data integrity automatically.
  • •Create design standards and assurance processes for software, systems, and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows, and storage.
  • •Review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and suggest system and storage changes/upgrades to meet ongoing needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field of study
  • •Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0/4.0
  • •Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (Python, Java, or Scala)
  • •Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
  • •Exposure to distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
