Lead medical writing for WebMD’s clinical audiences, creating accurate, well-organized news, clinical summaries, and enterprise stories. Review and evaluate scientific literature, distill complex research into point-of-care content, and publish 3–4 news articles weekly. Key Responsibilities

•Write clinical summaries/news for patients and physician audiences using updates from publications, medical practice, regulatory authority, and conferences.
•Review and digest scientific papers from major medical journals to identify studies for clinical coverage.
•Write 3–4 news articles per week based on published studies and new research from meetings.
•Cover policy issues and develop enterprise stories, coordinating with internal editorial and production teams for quality and delivery.
•Manage 5–7 medical writers and handle multiple concurrent projects while meeting copy deadlines.

Key Requirements

•4–6+ years of pharmaceutical/medical writing experience, including digital-environment writing.
•Excellent medical literature retrieval and evaluation skills, with ability to analyze and interpret complex data in a clinical tone.
•Strong SEO optimization skills for news and ability to distill information for clinicians at the point of care.
•Experience with PubMed/Ovid and familiarity with medical conference sites.
•Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with content management systems and GSuite.
