Key Responsibilities

  • •Write clinical summaries/news for patients and physician audiences using updates from publications, medical practice, regulatory authority, and conferences.
  • •Review and digest scientific papers from major medical journals to identify studies for clinical coverage.
  • •Write 3–4 news articles per week based on published studies and new research from meetings.
  • •Cover policy issues and develop enterprise stories, coordinating with internal editorial and production teams for quality and delivery.
  • •Manage 5–7 medical writers and handle multiple concurrent projects while meeting copy deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6+ years of pharmaceutical/medical writing experience, including digital-environment writing.
  • •Excellent medical literature retrieval and evaluation skills, with ability to analyze and interpret complex data in a clinical tone.
  • •Strong SEO optimization skills for news and ability to distill information for clinicians at the point of care.
  • •Experience with PubMed/Ovid and familiarity with medical conference sites.
  • •Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with content management systems and GSuite.
