Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, motivate, and manage a team handling payment screening and name screening with strong work ethics and communication.
  • •Organize and monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed within agreed timescales, priorities, and procedures.
  • •Set, monitor, and achieve process, productivity, and quality targets to optimize resources and meet business objectives and customer SLAs.
  • •Review procedural changes and new initiatives, communicate them, and ensure implementation by controlled teams.
  • •Drive yearly AOP planning to maximize capacity utilization and lead teams conducting payment alert reviews while maintaining stakeholder relationships and identifying process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • •Two to five years’ experience managing teams processing SWIFT payments, SWIFT messaging, securities, international trade, receivables, or related trade activities.
  • •Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks including OFAC, UN, EU sanctions, BIS Entity List, sanctions regulations, financial crime risk management, and export control requirements.
  • •Professional certifications such as CGSS or CAMS (or equivalent) are preferred.
  • •Familiarity with financial crime compliance concepts (PEP, watchlists, embargoes, transaction monitoring) and screening systems/case management tools (e.g., Fircosoft, SafeWatch, LexisNexis, Actimize) is beneficial.
