Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis, using specialist engineering software, to support studies of dams and reservoirs.
  • •Stay up to date with regulatory legislation and guidelines that affect design work.
  • •Carry out research and apply theoretical knowledge to new situations to support continuous improvement.
  • •Undertake feasibility studies to assess alternative solutions, including technical performance, health and safety, cost, and environmental benefits.
  • •Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, contracts, and write reports/presentations; join site visits to support dam inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field such as geology, geotechnics, or structures.
  • •Master’s degree in relevant subjects is an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules or relevant work experience is an advantage.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical stakeholders, clients, and the public.
  • •Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient with curiosity, research skills, and ability to structure and prioritize work in multidisciplinary teams.
