Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas.
  • •Locate blind holes for installation of new structural items to existing structures.
  • •Carry out structural work including sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving in accordance with standard repair processes.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modifications and repairs.
  • •Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modification and repair, including knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting and basic electrical systems functionality.

  • •10+ years of experience working with heavy structures such as locating, drilling, countersinking, and fastening structural components to aircraft.
