Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain global network operations standards that promote consistent, secure, and compliant outcomes across markets.
  • •Support standards design for new payment flows, emerging technologies, and evolving ecosystem participation models.
  • •Coordinate the standards development lifecycle, including research, drafting, review, and implementation coordination.
  • •Assess how customers and partners participate in the Mastercard network, including new roles and ecosystem constructs beyond issuing and acquiring.
  • •Monitor business trends for new markets and opportunities and help evaluate their impact on licenses, rules, compliance, and systems while partnering across Product, Core, Services, and Strategy teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payments, financial services, or a related field.
  • •Good understanding of payment network constructs, including issuing, acquiring, and multi-rail ecosystems.
  • •Working knowledge of end-to-end transaction flows, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and dispute processes.
  • •Familiarity with Mastercard Rules, Transaction Processing Rules, and Security Rules & Procedures is an advantage.
  • •Ability to develop clear, scalable standards documentation and translate product, technical, and business requirements into practical network standards and frameworks.
