Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end import entry audit process by reviewing CBP documentation, identifying discrepancies, driving corrective actions, and maintaining audit-ready records.
  • •Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and partner with Finance to recover overpayments while ensuring compliance.
  • •Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance on complex classification issues.
  • •Analyze import data to identify compliance risks, duty savings opportunities, and process improvements while building dashboards, automation, and reporting tools.
  • •Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and other cross-functional teams to improve customs processes, documentation, and import data integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with U.S. customs compliance, including CBP Form 7501, customs valuation, country of origin, HTS classification, and trade remedies (Sections 301 and 232).
  • •Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors, quantify financial impact, and maintain accurate audit records.
  • •Experience working with customs brokers, managing Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), and ensuring importer of record compliance.
  • •Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills, with experience creating reports, calculators, dashboards, or automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • •Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate across teams and influence proactive process improvements.
