Job Summary

Provide personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at assigned installations. Deliver one-on-one counseling, briefings, workshops, and informational materials aligned to the military lifecycle, including pre- and post-deployment topics. Coordinate with installation and military branch points of contact to keep the program within scope, respond to requests for age-appropriate sessions, and support virtual counseling and DoD protocol requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members with establishing spending plans for extended absences.
•Develop and provide informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle, including arrival at first duty station and pre-/post-deployment.
•Use virtual counseling/electronic communication methods when authorized and manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required (may consider associate degree plus 4 years’ experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience).
•3+ years of financial counseling experience.
•Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
•If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
•Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
