Key Responsibilities

  • •Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit.
  • •Support clinical duties with the nurse, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
  • •Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers.
  • •Help with training and supervision of new staff so they feel welcomed and supported.
  • •Assist residents with personal care and build relationships with residents, families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
