Key Responsibilities

  • •Ship products from 0→1 to production users, using support threads, usage data, and direct conversations to decide what to build next.
  • •Build and maintain a layered quality pipeline that keeps speed safe, including type safety, lint/format, unit and component tests, contract tests, accessibility, visual regression, and bundle-size budgets.
  • •Prevent recurring regressions by adding checks at the cheapest stage that would have caught the issue.
  • •Work end-to-end across frontend UI, API contracts, preview deploys, and observability in a public, open codebase.

Key Requirements

  • •A track record of taking a product from 0→1, launching something real, and iterating based on how users actually use it.
  • •Deep frontend fundamentals with strong React, including TypeScript and modern concepts like SSR, streaming, server components, and edge.
  • •A quality-and-tooling mindset, with experience wiring CI/testing pipelines (unit/component tests, contract tests, and related checks).
  • •Experience with tools such as Vitest, Playwright, MSW (or equivalents) and strong opinions on where checks should run and why.
  • •Comfort working with AI coding agents, including reviewing outputs, tightening architecture, and providing guardrails to verify their work.
