Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver and unload concrete to job sites safely and efficiently.
  • •Follow dispatch instructions, maintain communication with the dispatcher/plant supervisor, and complete delivery tickets as required.
  • •Safely maintain cleanliness of the truck and mixer drum, including rinsing before and after deliveries.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
  • •Use PPE as directed and comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess a valid Class B CDL (or complete training and pass the CDL exam to attain licensure).
  • •Acquire and maintain a valid DOT medical card and a state issued commercial driver license (or attain them after training).
  • •Must have the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Must be able to climb ladders, handle 50-pound mixer chutes safely, and meet the physical requirements of driving and repetitive motions.
  • •High school diploma preferred or at least one year of related experience or training (or equivalent combination).
