Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and test prototype compressors and related assemblies.
  • •Build prototype products, test equipment, jigs and fixtures as required.
  • •Machine and/or modify components in development when needed.
  • •Set up test programs and conduct test and validation activities on-site and with third-party test houses or customers.
  • •Record test data and produce technical analysis to support development and engineering changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Ideally educated to degree level in mechanical engineering or product design (or HND/NVQ4 with relevant experience).
  • •Mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience, including development of rotating or packaging machinery (min 2 years).
  • •Knowledge of AC electrical systems.
  • •Experience with data acquisition and recording test data for technical analysis.
  • •Driving licence.
