Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to support underwriting decisions.
  • •Follow Underwriter instructions for policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages & exclusions, and mandatory forms to accurately quote and issue policies.
  • •Provide end-to-end account servicing support for new business, renewals, and endorsements for basic to moderately complex business and products.
  • •Respond to written, verbal, and telephone inquiries appropriately and on time under close supervision, working collaboratively with assigned underwriters.
  • •Support broker/agent/distributor/customer interactions by providing basic customer service skills under Underwriter guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance areas.
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including Associate Degree) with no prior experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance areas.
  • •High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 2+ years of experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance areas.
  • •Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
