Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance and inspections using an A&P license outside of certified repair station (CRS).
  • •Conduct advanced troubleshooting, inspections (including hidden damage), and operational/functional checks to ensure safety and airworthiness.
  • •Participate in flight tests and perform track and balancing of rotor systems and vibration analysis.
  • •Lead technician duties including daily huddles, assigning maintenance tasks, and escalating performance issues and safety concerns.
  • •Update maintenance tracking, ensure compliance with policies/procedures and FAA regulations, and prepare aircraft maintenance documentation for return to service.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of aviation maintenance experience on BK117 C2/D3 or EC135 OR 12 years rotary-wing experience with at least 6 months on BK117 C2/D3 or EC135.
  • •Current FAA A&P license.
  • •Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (e.g., lead role or leadership trainings).
  • •Understanding of FAA regulations 14 CFR Parts 27, 29, 39, 43, 91, 135, and 145 processes.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English; ability to obtain a DoD CAC (Common Access Card).
