Lead packaging development in a multidisciplinary R&D packaging team to drive NPD, value engineering and supply chain packaging projects from concept to implementation. Own complex programs, coordinate with engineering, regulatory and supply chain, coach colleagues, and drive cost competitiveness, sustainability, quality and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead packaging development projects with a consumer-first mindset.
•Lead large or complex projects with independence and understanding of packaging materials and formats, providing scenarios and recommendations to gain alignment.
•Deliver technically NPD, VE & Supply Chain projects through R&D governance and best practices.
•Lead packaging-scope Supply chain projects including new equipment implementation, filling and packaging lines, and commissioning of packaging formats on new lines and CAPEX maintenance in the network.
•Coach and develop members of the packaging team and support the Packaging Development Manager in cost-out and innovation initiatives.

Key Requirements

•A completed packaging, engineering or science degree
•+8 years of experience within packaging development in a complex / matrix organization
•Positively embraces business best practice and seek opportunities to lead and implement
•Strong in communication: informing, influencing, stakeholder management, network building
•Strong in simplifying the complex: able to present complex technical topics to non-technical audience
