Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, assembly, quality, and cost.
  • •Review product designs, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to identify manufacturing risks and improvement opportunities.
  • •Provide DFM/DFA recommendations early to reduce complexity, improve yield, and shorten production time.
  • •Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, and quality teams to support new product introduction and production readiness, including prototype builds and process validation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years combined experience in product design, manufacturing engineering, design for manufacturing, or new product introduction.
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, welding, casting, molding, assembly, or related production methods.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and BOM structures.
  • •Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment and apply strong analytical and project management skills.
