Key Responsibilities

  • •Bring a DX perspective into language design, IR architecture, and API reviews, pushing back when choices make the stack hard to use.
  • •Build early error messages, visualizations, and workflow sketches to stress-test API decisions.
  • •Contribute to a coherent error model for how errors are represented, surfaced, and attributed across compiler passes.
  • •Develop circuit diagrams, error syndrome plots, and result analysis tooling as APIs stabilize.
  • •Improve the workflow from Bloqade program to emulation output to hardware job, including CLI and actionable feedback.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 102,400 - 166,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building developer-facing tooling such as compiler frontends, LSP servers, linters, SDK APIs, or notebook tooling.
  • •Comfortable reading and writing Rust (Kirin) and Python (user-facing SDK), with willingness to work in the IR layer.
  • •Strong opinions on what “good” errors look like, and interest in improving them before launch.
  • •Interest in influencing platform or language design, not only using it.
  • •Comfortable prototyping against unstable APIs and feeding feedback back into design.
