Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and reconcile GL accounts (cash, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, leases, intercompany) and identify trends to improve processes.
  • •Code and reconcile credit card transactions (e.g., Brex/corporate cards), ensuring policy compliance and accurate GL posting.
  • •Prepare and post month-end GL journal entries, including interest, prepaid amortization, accruals, and depreciation.
  • •Mentor the Staff Accountant on GL treatments, accounting standards, and policy application; coach on complex scenarios.
  • •Leverage AI and automation to streamline close workflows, support audits/statutory reporting, and document GL processes, controls, and audit trails.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 156,750 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • •4-6 years of GL accounting or accounting operations experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant or Lead role.
  • •Proficiency with accounting systems including NetSuite and Floqast.
  • •Strong Excel skills to analyze data, identify patterns, and create solutions.
  • •Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making (e.g., Claude Cowork, Gemini) for analysis and process improvement.
