Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver duties of a neurologist in OPD and IP in accordance with approved privileges.
  • •Oversee neurodiagnostic laboratory operations (EEG, EMG), including technician training as needed.
  • •Provide on-call emergency coverage for neurologic emergencies.
  • •Support continuous quality improvement and develop appropriate standards of care.
  • •Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality management, confidentiality, and clinical risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified and licensed Medical Practitioner.
  • •At least 3-5 years’ post qualification experience at consultant level (independent of country).
  • •At least 1 year consultant level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
  • •Basic medical degree and completion of higher education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • •Certification and registration in a speciality recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority, plus active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
