Key Responsibilities

  • •Test and inspect chick quality at all stages of chick processing and evaluate statistical data to maintain outgoing quality reliability.
  • •Weigh and check chick quality for each flock every hour and count by-product (2 boxes per flock).
  • •Check robots and injects for bad birds and support vaccine mixing/training and weekly vaccine inventory checks.
  • •Enter hatch summary into the computer on a weekly basis and compile/evaluate statistical data.
  • •Perform additional duties as needed, such as packing eggs, cleaning the vaccine lab, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
