Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean the plant and equipment in accordance with SSOPs using high-pressure hoses and cleaning chemicals.
  • •Pick up meat scraps and bones and dispose of them in the offal trailer.
  • •Pick up loose trash and dispose of it in the garbage truck.
  • •Act as key trainer for on-the-job training of new team members.
  • •Assist supervisors and leads with safety awareness, including informing them of unsafe practices observed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be employed at the facility/complex at the time of application (internal transfer to another Tyson facility not eligible for this posting).
  • •Must have been in the current position for 90 days to promote, demote, or transfer to another shift and line.
  • •Be willing and able to perform heavy manual work continuously over an extended period of time.
  • •Be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • •Must be able to understand and follow oral instructions.
