Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead emergency response as ERT Captain and direct personnel during medical, chemical, gas, HAZMAT, and rescue incidents.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety protocols including PPE, CoHE (Lockout/Tagout), and chemical handling procedures.
  • •Conduct safety audits and hazard prevention checks to improve workplace safety and efficiency.
  • •Apply and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHA/JSA), communicate shift updates, and collaborate to resolve safety and equipment issues.
  • •Manage and maintain emergency response tools and equipment; document incidents and monitor safety trends, including supporting safety and cost-reduction projects through data analysis and preventive maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in emergency services, or related equivalent experience.
  • •2+ years’ experience in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license or equivalent field.
  • •Able to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), including progressing between day and night shifts every 4 months.
  • •Able to regularly lift 25–40 pounds and stand up to 10 hours per shift while walking intermittently 1–5 miles.
  • •2+ years’ experience with SAP, Enablon, or similar incident tracking systems; able to become certified in SCBA, SKA, and APR respiratory protection.
