Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz products and cloud infrastructure, identifying attack surfaces and scalable mitigations.
  • •Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to integrate end-to-end security into development workflows.
  • •Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • •Drive vulnerability management and remediation, prioritizing issues and implementing preventative controls across the software supply chain.
  • •Extend detection and response capabilities by building solutions to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and remediate incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
  • •Experience with AWS cloud security (or equivalent with Azure/GCP plus some AWS experience).
  • •Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native Kubernetes security (EKS/GKE/AKS) and container security principles.
  • •Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale and leading technical security reviews with threat modeling.
  • •Hands-on IaC and security automation experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi, plus scripting/tooling development (e.g., Python, Go, Shell, HCL, Rego).
