Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and analyze all incident reports and participate in investigations when required.
  • •Investigate patient safety issues and participate in root cause analyses of sentinel events.
  • •Recommend and facilitate organizational change to improve patient safety based on identified risks.
  • •Design and implement educational presentations on the incident reporting system and ensure ongoing adoption.
  • •Coordinate accreditation readiness by assessing compliance with JCI/CBAHI standards, developing strategies, and preparing quarterly reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in a healthcare-related field (Medicine, Nursing, or paramedical specialties).
  • •Training in Quality Improvement, preferably a certified QI course; CPHQ is preferred.
  • •Minimum three (3) years experience in a similar healthcare facility role or two (2) years recent experience in a QI department in an acute care hospital.
  • •Advanced computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
  • •Ability to collect and organize data, collaborate effectively, and prepare accurate reports on program progress.
