Key Responsibilities

  • •Process and re-assign titles for vehicles sold by the auction.
  • •Examine vehicle titles for accuracy and conformity, verifying VIN, odometer, liens, and absence of alterations; assess negotiability and potential fraud and report discrepancies.
  • •Verify acceptance of titles in the state filed and resolve titling issues through interactions with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies, including handling title problem price adjustments with a supervisor.
  • •Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and interpret titling regulations per state; complete exception resolution documentation, submit to the State, and update/validate exceptions in the system.
  • •Provide customer service by receiving and routing phone calls, resolving customer issues, processing sale day transactions, requesting POA and state fee funds, notarizing documents, and monitoring title aging.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education/certification and up to 1 year, or 5 years’ related experience).
  • •Previous vehicle title experience and title handling, including ability to recognize title brands and notations.
  • •Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • •Valid Notary or ability to become a Notary.
  • •Ability to type and use 10-key proficiently; sitting/standing for extended periods and light lifting (10 lbs. or less).
