Job Summary

Design, analyze, simulate, and test power conversion circuitry using non-isolated topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost), including thermal considerations. Lead power circuitry design work within schedule constraints and present technical data reviews to program leadership. Guide ECAD personnel through PWB layout for power circuitry and support technical drawing creation. Work in the System Power, Analog and Controls Department on projects critical to national defense.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry using non-isolated power conversion topologies such as buck, boost, and buck-boost.
•Guide ECAD personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation.
•Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule.
•Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
•Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear converters.
•Experience with non-isolated converter topologies including buck, boost, and buck-boost.
•Experience with analog electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits.
•U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
