Job Summary

Build and maintain the data platform by designing data models and delivering reliable ELT/ETL pipelines. You’ll orchestrate workflows with Airflow, prepare clean transformed data for BI usage, and automate solutions to reduce manual extracts. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure strong data governance and quality through testing and documentation, and promote best practices across the analytics engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

•Gather requirements from the business and define an action plan to execute them.
•Work end to end on projects from definition to delivery.
•Deliver and maintain data models using software engineering practices like version control, testing, and CI/CD.
•Design, develop, deploy, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines from sources such as transactional databases, REST APIs, and file-based endpoints.
•Manage pipeline orchestration using Airflow (hosted in Cloud Composer) and support data governance, QA, and best practices for efficient and secure data processes.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of data/analytics engineering experience building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes on big data environments.
•Proficiency in SQL.
•Mid-level experience with Python.
•Experience with dbt and Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery and DataStudio (Looker mentioned as well).
•Familiarity with dimensional modeling/data warehousing concepts, plus strong software engineering practices in data (version control, testing, CI/CD).
