Key Responsibilities

  • •Program CMMs and write analysis scripts for CMM and non-contact inspection devices, especially for closed-loop machining environments
  • •Perform direct measurements of artifacts/parts in the Metrology Lab
  • •Develop production-ready metrology solutions using newer sensor technology on complex geometries
  • •Ensure product and process compliance by providing CMM inspection solutions per quality systems and requirements
  • •Integrate automated measurement and test equipment with highly automated manufacturing cells and information systems

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years CMM programming experience, or Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years' experience
  • •Technical Knowledge of CMM Programming software (PC-DMIS, Camio, CMM Manager)
  • •Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • •Must be comfortable working in a shop environment and presenting in technical meetings
  • •Experience in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering with aerospace industry preferred; familiarity with MODUS, PC-DMIS, CALYPSO; Python, R-STUDIO, MINITAB, NX helpful
