Job Summary

Develop and implement CMM programming and metrology solutions for Pratt & Whitney modules in Asheville, supporting production quality and process improvements. You will program CMMs, write analysis scripts, integrate measurement systems, and collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure compliance and drive improvements across the Module Center, with travel up to 10%.

Key Responsibilities

•Program CMMs and write analysis scripts for CMM and non-contact inspection devices, especially for closed-loop machining environments
•Perform direct measurements of artifacts/parts in the Metrology Lab
•Develop production-ready metrology solutions using newer sensor technology on complex geometries
•Ensure product and process compliance by providing CMM inspection solutions per quality systems and requirements
•Integrate automated measurement and test equipment with highly automated manufacturing cells and information systems

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years CMM programming experience, or Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years' experience
•Technical Knowledge of CMM Programming software (PC-DMIS, Camio, CMM Manager)
•Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
•Must be comfortable working in a shop environment and presenting in technical meetings
•Experience in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering with aerospace industry preferred; familiarity with MODUS, PC-DMIS, CALYPSO; Python, R-STUDIO, MINITAB, NX helpful
