Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and development of the next iteration of the global transactional platform to streamline cross-border payments and fund collections.
  • •Take full accountability for services end-to-end under a “You build it, you own it” philosophy, including deployment and production health.
  • •Lead product initiatives end-to-end with Product and Operations to translate financial business requirements into technical solutions.
  • •Mentor and guide less experienced engineers through strong engineering standards and thorough code reviews.
  • •Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across regions to build robust, modular services and components.

Key Requirements

  • •Design, build, and maintain complex, highly available software systems at scale with strong attention to clean code, design patterns, and testability (unit/integration tests).
  • •Hands-on experience in payments, fintech, or banking, including understanding transactional consistency, ledger systems, multi-currency handling, and/or external financial integrations.
  • •Experience with distributed architectures, asynchronous messaging, and relational databases.
  • •Build and integrate standard APIs and external systems with a production/observability mindset, including monitoring and alerting.
  • •Communicate complex technical ideas clearly in English to both technical peers and non-technical business stakeholders.
