Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain facility equipment and grounds safely and efficiently, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues and understanding equipment for effective repair.
  • •Mentor and train junior technicians in service and repair procedures; assist with evaluating/certifying them for promotions and promotions/training.
  • •Record all maintenance work accurately in the CMMS, ensuring work orders are complete with spares, labor, and downtime documentation.
  • •Check and approve completed work orders; attend pass-down/shift meetings to communicate completed and in-progress work.
  • •Support preventative maintenance and cost-saving opportunities; follow OSHA/EPA and company safe practices; collaborate with departments and vendors; substitute for the Lead as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate with 2-year technical school (Electrical and Maintenance) or 2-year associate degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • •8+ years of maintenance experience, or 5 years’ experience with a degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, plus proven electro/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • •Ability to read prints/schematics and perform basic electronic troubleshooting, including vacuum systems troubleshooting and leak detection.
  • •Basic understanding of SPC/process control techniques and strong written/verbal communication skills.
