Lead the commercial payments agenda for Visa Government Solutions (VGS) across CEMEA, helping governments and public sector organizations modernize expenditure payment flows. Partner with VGS sales and Visa Commercial Solutions teams to craft growth strategies, vertical segment plans, two-sided go-to-market approaches, and ecosystem partnerships. Translate client needs and market/regulatory dynamics into clear commercial narratives that accelerate VGS growth and support Visa’s 2030 roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive regional growth for VGS Government-to-Business (G2B) commercial payment solutions with dedicated VGS sales teams.
•Develop and own segment and vertical strategies using Visa capabilities, enhanced propositions, and external partnerships to grow share.
•Identify product, software, and capability gaps with global and regional teams, and build prioritization cases for enhancements.
•Shape two-sided go-to-market strategies for government buyers and industry sellers to improve client outcomes and drive Visa revenue.
•Identify and evaluate external commercial enabler partnerships (technology providers, marketplaces, ERPs, system integrators, TMCs, e-invoicing providers, issuers, and acquirers).

Key Requirements

•12+ years of experience in commercial cards, B2B payments, commercial issuing, or related payment solutions.
•Proven background in a card scheme, global issuer, travel or ERP platform, B2B fintech, or payments technology provider environment.
•Deep knowledge of global payments and strong regional understanding relevant to CEMEA.
•Strong understanding of commercial payment flows, two-sided network economics, acceptance, issuer dynamics, solutioning, commercialization, and go-to-market models.
•Experience developing strategies across multiple markets, ideally in a regional or matrixed global organization.
