Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation (including proofs of value) to show how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses the technical, regulatory, and business needs of financial services customers across the full software lifecycle.
•Drive the technical evaluation process as the Directly Responsible Individual, including solution design, POV/POC ownership, workshop design, and support for tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
•Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion within financial services.
•Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders at financial services organizations, guiding them through GitLab-driven digital transformation and enabling them to become GitLab advocates.
•Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices in the context of financial services risk, governance, and compliance expectations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 154,200 - 231,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles guiding solution design and evaluation.
•Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
•Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms with ability to map platform capabilities to financial services use cases.
•Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, including deployment, security, and operations options.
•Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept/value, contribute to tenders/audits, and design/run workshops or value stream assessments for commercial accounts.
