Job Summary

Join a training and onboarding program designed to prepare you for a Retail Personal Banker role, where you’ll use a consultative sales approach to assess customers’ Financial Needs and recommend solutions. You’ll proactively reach out with approved marketing tools, cross-sell to existing customers, support outside sales and community events, and collaborate with business partners such as Mortgage and Small Business to deliver holistic outcomes while following risk and ethics policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities, including onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance to CSRs on the sales and referral process while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•In-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and the ability to recommend appropriate solutions.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
