Job Summary

Support Development Engineer (DE) tests in lab and production environments by interpreting engineering instructions into experimental outcomes. Troubleshoot basic-to-moderate process and equipment issues, compile and analyze test data, and act as operations owner for the site Slot Die process, including SOP maintenance, cross-training, and continuous improvement. Plan and coordinate engineering tests with minimal supervision while maintaining Environmental, Quality, and Safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Support DE tests in a lab environment and translate engineering instructions into actions and experimental outcomes.
•Troubleshoot tool/process issues and suggest system improvements to meet performance goals.
•Compile and analyze test data from performed testing.
•Act as operations owner for the site Slot Die process, maintain SOPs, and x-train other crew.
•Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering tests in the laboratory while complying with Environmental, Quality, and Safety policies.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 30.38 - 42.97 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant technical experience, or Development Engineer Technician I experience.
•Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline (or similar technical discipline) with 3 years of relevant technical experience (or Development Engineer Technician I experience).
•Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication, and/or electrical or optical measurements.
•Ability to troubleshoot basic to moderate process and equipment issues on the production line or in the lab.
•Prior experience in wet coatings (spin coat, spray coat, slot die, industrial inkjet print, ink mixing, cleaning).
