Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a mass affluent client portfolio, delivering personalized, ongoing service for retail banking products and fee income.
  • •Establish and update understanding of client financial needs using personal financial planning analysis, and partner with advisors on investment account objectives and policies.
  • •Monitor economic, legal, and investment trends and serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs/attorneys.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing products, managing pipeline activity, and using automated sales and referral processes.
  • •Coordinate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and external centers of influence to ensure seamless service and support business development within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience serving clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/banking products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), with timelines for obtaining/maintaining and transferring licenses.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, including strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
