Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, design, and implement local and wide-area network solutions across multiple platforms and protocols.
  • •Conduct fiber optic detailed network design for middle mile and last mile fiber-based networks.
  • •Perform project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons; assist with job walks and installation/redesign needs.
  • •Support layer 1 infrastructure procedures with internal stakeholders and outside professional services as needed.
  • •Monitor and maintain inventory, execute work orders/support tickets, coordinate vendor scheduling, and keep job and maintenance documentation up to date.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalency).
  • •3+ years of experience in OSP and/or ISP fiber detailed design.
  • •Experience with wired and wireless voice intercom communication systems.
  • •Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols.
  • •Basic experience reading wiring schematics and construction blueprints.
