Key Responsibilities

•Provide procurement advice including understanding client drivers and project success factors, to then lead them through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, commercial model and route to market for their project.
•Manage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation, and negotiation.
•Provide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management.
•Support work winning activity including contributing to proposal documentation.
•Support the development of AECOM’s overall strategic procurement service offering

Key Requirements

•7+ years of post-qualification experience leading procurement for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
•Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through contract management and supplier engagement.
•Proven project/programme management experience with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
•Awareness of a range of standard form contracts including NEC.
•Experience in category management and contract management, including advising on Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
