Job Summary

Work part-time (3–4 days per week) in Tyson’s Madison Ham Plant production areas. Perform general labor such as trimming large pieces of product with a knife and hook and operating powered equipment (e.g., saws/skinner machines) across Processing, Harvest, or hides. Maintain a safe work environment while meeting physical demands, working in hot/cold and wet/cold environments with slippery surfaces. Facility operates Monday–Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

•Trim large pieces of product using a knife and hook and maintain a safe work environment following Tyson policies and procedures.
•In Processing roles, bone out/trim product and use powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
•In Harvest roles, remove hide from cattle, trim product, and operate heavier equipment such as air knives, whizard knives, saws, and skinner machines.
•In hides roles, trim hides and operate large pieces of equipment as needed.
•Perform production work across any department of the Processing, Harvest, or hides facility and meet ongoing physical/environmental requirements.

•Ability to safely perform physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
•Willingness to lift/carry/push/pull 50 pounds or more (some requirements vary up to 65 lbs).
•Willingness to work in extreme hot/wet and cold/dry environments, with temperatures ranging roughly from 32–100°F and slippery surfaces.
•Willingness to work in Processing, Harvest, or hides departments, including use of knives/hooks and/or powered equipment as required.
•Ability to provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S. (post-offer urinalysis screening required).
