Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform final assembly operations for electricity transformers using standard methods and procedures.
  • •Complete tasks across work centers including tank breakdown, casing, small parts, vacuum chamber, palletizing, final assembly, and testing.
  • •Attach and install component parts and sub-assemblies onto transformer tanks and place/anchor core/coil assemblies into tanks.
  • •Load, operate, and unload the vacuum system and execute repetitive hand assembly, fitting, and adjustment operations.
  • •Operate overhead cranes and hoisting equipment and adhere to safety, 5S+ housekeeping, and company policies while meeting target production rates.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to perform basic mathematical functions as required.
  • •Ability to operate industrial equipment and hand tools and interpret document specifications.
  • •Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, standing, and using both hands to lift and lower materials.
  • •Must adhere to proper use of PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe/metatarsal guards.
