Job Summary

Develop and advance radar Modeling & Simulation capabilities for the Open System Architecture Signal Injector (OSI), including requirements and architecture work across system-of-system performance. Lead algorithm descriptions, test scenario definitions, verification approaches, and requirements analysis/benchmarking to align performance with operational objectives. Partner with software and integration/test engineers to deliver high-performing radar solutions for the SR&S Modeling & Simulation team in Huntsville.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development of architectures and requirements defining and documenting radar OSI M&S capabilities.
•Update architectural frameworks and maintain system-of-system functional and performance requirements, algorithm descriptions, and verification approaches.
•Perform requirements analysis and benchmarking to validate algorithm designs and ensure system-level performance meets operational objectives.
•Collaborate with software and integration/test engineers to deliver innovative, high-performing radar solutions.
•Contribute to detailed algorithm descriptions, test scenario definitions, and verification/validation planning for OSI M&S.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with radar systems and/or systems engineering, including Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
•Experience with radar signal processing, signal processing theory, and/or signal modeling.
•Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or Linux OS platforms.
•Experience developing and documenting radar OSI M&S capabilities, including requirements and verification approaches.
