Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering for HV/EHV overhead transmission lines, including route alignments and tower spotting studies.
  • •Develop and review conductor/earth wire selection, insulation coordination, line clearances, and related design studies.
  • •Perform and review key electrical and mechanical transmission line calculations (e.g., sag-tension, blowout, thermal ampacity, corona/RFI, shielding and lightning).
  • •Lead advanced modeling and design activities using PLS-CADD, and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
